Orders of in stock items will ship within 1-2 business days. We ship via UPS ground. If you need expedited air shipping, please contacts us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 415.318.6412. If the item you would like to purchase is a special order item, please contact us at email@example.com and we will give you an approximate ship date at that time.
We ship to Canada and Internationally -PLEASE NOTE- that at the time the package is delivered, Canadian and international customers may also incur a USPS customs clearance charge as well as local and country-wide taxes which vary. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions about Canadian and International shipping rates.
We do not ship to P.O. Boxes. If you require express shipping, please contact us at email@example.com for quotes and information. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information when your order ships.
Upon placement of order, please check your confirmation email to ensure that the ship to address is correct. If there is an error, please contact us immediately. Once a package has been shipped, there is a $25 redirect charge should the address need to be changed while the order is in transit.
Forms of Payment
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. If you would like to place an order over the phone, you can do so by calling us at 415.318.6412. You may also e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your order information, your address and phone number where you can be reached. We will call you for your credit card information. We do not accept personal checks.
Sales tax will be charged on all orders shipped to Minnesota (6.5%). Residents of other states are responsible for complying with local state tax laws.
Credit Card Security
Our shopping cart uses PayPal which features SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption when transmitting certain kinds of information, such as financial services information or payment information. An icon resembling a padlock is displayed on the bottom of most browser windows during SSL transactions that involve credit cards and other forms of payment. Any time PayPal asks for a credit card number during checkout for payment, it will be SSL encrypted. We do not keep your credit card information on file.
Purchases can be returned for a full refund (minus any international shipping charge, if applicable), within 30 days from delivery date as long as product is in its original condition and is returned to us in the original packing, with all inserts. We are unable to accept returns on opened rolls of wallpaper or special order items. Please email email@example.com or call 415.318.6412 for a return authorization prior to shipping the item back to us. Once you receive a return authorization, the item must be returned within the following 2 weeks, or we will not be able to accept it.
All costs for return shipment are the responsibility of the customer. Please pack the item well (additional packaging may be necessary) and insure it for the full amount - we recommend using UPS or FedEx so that the shipment can be tracked. We are not responsible for lost packages.
If you received a gift, your gift will be refunded for a store credit or the amount will be applied to the purchaser's credit card - we do not offer cash refunds on gift purchases.
Exchanges are not accepted, but a product can be "exchanged" by returning it to us for a refund and then re-ordering the product online.
All clearance sale items are non-refundable.
Report Damaged Shipments
We take great care in inspecting and packing our products in an effort to ensure that they arrive in perfect condition. If by chance damage does occur, please contact us within 5 business days of receipt of order via email at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange for a replacement. Please keep the original item and all packing material. We will replace the item at no additional shipping cost.
We offer samples to help you with your wallpaper decisions. Each sample sheet is 8" X 11.5" and is available for $5. If you purchase any Ferm Living wallpaper design through this website, all sample charges will be refunded upon purchase. How to Wallpaper
Please click here for a detailed instruction video for how to hang our WallSmart wallpapers. The walls must be clean, dry and stable, and uneven surfaces should be filled in or polished evenly. Be sure to use wallpaper paste for a non-woven wallpaper quality. Apply paste directly to wall with a roller coater. Put about 2-3 lengths up at the same time. Hang the sections by butting the edges tightly together (do not overlap) and smooth the wallpaper from the middle and out towards the edges. Please read carefully the instructions that are included with the wallpaper packaging. Ferm Living wallpaper is considered eco friendly (European environment call EN266, EN12149). It uses a water-based coating and environmentally friendly printing ink and the paper substrate is cellulose with mineral fibers. Our wallpaper does not consist of any heavy metals, PVC, solvents or other dangerous substances. The production waste is recycled.
Our wallpaper is WallSmart, a new generation of non-woven wallpaper that is designed for easier and more flexible hanging by applying the paste directly to the wall. It is washable and has very good light resistance. It is designed in Denmark and manufactured in Sweden.
How to Apply Wall Stickers
Ferm Living's wall stickers are easy to apply. Each wall sticker comes with and a plastic scraper for mounting. Download instructions here. Please note that they are not suitable for use on raw concrete or exposed brickwork. The wall stickers are easily removable. In the rare case that paint or wallpaper is damaged upon removal, Ferm Living Shop cannot be held responsible.
